I am torn.
My premium membership to Xanga expires in a few days, and I'm not sure if I want to renew it or upgrade to "Xanga for Life". $100 is kind of steep... And I'm not sure if I will have the passion to terrorize the internet with my ramblings and bad humor for the rest of my life. Would you like me to? Recent polls indicate "no".
To be honest, the one thing that is holding me back from getting Xanga for Life is the name itself: "Xanga for Life". I'm not too fond of that name. Being that I am all about death, I would be more apt to sign up if it was called "Xanga 'til You Die". I don't like the logo, either. It's too colorful. I wonder if the Xanga team would make me a special logo that's all dark and brooding and says "Xanga 'til Death". That would be tight.
I'm also going to change my name to Philberto, but I suppose that's a blog post for another day.

I got lifetime Xanga in a moment of extravagance. I figured I've been blogging for 2 years and I'll be blogging for the foreseeable future so why not? Apparently, it winds up saving you money if you blog for 3 or 4 years. I don't know if it's really worth it. Well heck, at least you get to join the Lifetime Xanga elite.
you should TOTALLY change it to philberto. hot sexy filipino/spanish man-flesh!
it's not worth it. xanga is just a form of self-expression that will only serve to amuse us for at the most a couple more years. especially now that were on friends lock and the blogs we have grown to love have changed or ceased to exist. I mean think about it... are you still active on Asian Avenue, Myspace or friendster?
too much Avril Lavigne
I don't even think premium is worth it. Why not just use blogger or something? It's free also.
i think it is worth it. you're gonna end up paying it eventually over the course of 4 years anyway.
xanga for life? kind of sounds like a prison sentence
Depends on if you think you'll be sticking to xanga for another few years. Seems like more and more people are moving to something like blogspot.
Regardless, I hope you keep writing!
